Purpose

This article explains how HR users send emails to candidates in the Thulo RecruitEdge – Recruitment Management Module.

Sending emails allows HR teams to communicate directly with candidates during different stages of the recruitment process.

What Sending Emails Is Used For

Sending emails to candidates is used to:

  • Acknowledge receipt of applications

  • Share interview information or updates

  • Request additional details or documents

  • Inform candidates about next steps or decisions

All email communication is recorded in the candidate profile.

Email communication applies to:

  • Candidate Profiles

  • Recruitment Campaign communication

  • Interview and follow-up coordination

Emails sent from RecruitEdge are linked to the respective candidate record.


How To Send an Email to a Candidate

  1. Go to Recruitment → Candidate Profile

  2. Open the relevant Candidate Profile

  3. Select Send Email

  4. Enter the Email Subject

  5. Write the Email Message

  6. Review the recipient email address

  7. Click Send

The email is sent and logged in the candidate’s interaction history.


Important Rules to Know

  • Emails are sent to the email address stored in the candidate profile

  • Sending an email does not change candidate status

  • Email delivery depends on correct email configuration

  • All sent emails are saved for reference

  • Use clear and professional language

  • Double-check recipient details before sending

  • Keep messages concise and relevant

  • Use email communication consistently for updates


Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Sending emails to outdated or incorrect addresses

  • Go to Candidate Profile menu -> click Send mail button -> In the Send mail page, fill in the required details: 




  • Or go to candidate detail -> click Send mail button
