What Recording Candidate Interactions Is Used For
Recording candidate interactions is used to:

Log phone calls, walk-ins, and informal discussions

Track follow-up actions and outcomes
-
Maintain communication history outside email
-
Support informed hiring decisions
Interaction records complement emails and interview notes.

All interaction records are stored within the candidate profile.
How To Record a Candidate Interaction

Go to Recruitment → Candidate Profile

Open the relevant Candidate Profile
-
Select Add Interaction or Record Follow-Up
-
Choose the Interaction Type (call, meeting, follow-up, etc.)
-
Enter Date and Notes describing the interaction
-
Add any Outcome or Next Step if applicable
-
Click Save
The interaction is logged in the candidate’s history.
Important Rules to Know

Interaction records do not change candidate status automatically

Recorded interactions are visible to authorized users

Interaction history remains available after HR transfer

Interaction records are for internal reference only
