Purpose of HR Transfer

When a candidate is transferred to HR Records, the recruitment process for that candidate is considered complete.

This transfer creates a clear boundary between:

  • Recruitment activities (RecruitEdge)

  • Employee management activities (HR Records)

What Happens After HR Transfer

After a candidate is transferred:

  • The candidate is added to the HR Records module

  • Recruitment-related data remains in RecruitEdge for reference

  • The candidate is no longer treated as an active applicant

  • Recruitment actions for that candidate become read-only

This ensures recruitment history is preserved while HR processes continue separately.

What Can Still Be Viewed in RecruitEdge

After transfer, HR users can still:

  • View candidate profile information

  • Review interview history and evaluations

  • Access communication and interaction records

These records remain available for audit and reference purposes.

What Can No Longer Be Edited

After transfer, users cannot:

  • Edit candidate recruitment details

  • Change candidate status

  • Schedule new interviews

  • Record new recruitment evaluations

All employee-related updates must be done in the HR Records module.

Why This Behavior Is Important

This separation:

  • Prevents duplicate or conflicting records

  • Ensures a clean recruitment-to-HR handover

  • Maintains accurate hiring history

  • Supports proper employee data management

Best Practices

  • Transfer candidates only after final selection is confirmed

  • Complete all interviews and evaluations before transfer

  • Verify candidate details before initiating HR transfer

Important Notes

  • HR transfer does not delete recruitment records

  • Recruitment history cannot be modified after transfer

  • Any employment changes must be handled in HR Records
