Employee Onboarding Management
The Employee Onboarding feature in Thulo HR Records is used to manage and track the onboarding process for newly hired employees.
The onboarding workflow helps organizations ensure that new employees complete all required tasks, training programs, and orientation activities before becoming fully integrated into the organization.
Prerequisite
Before creating an onboarding process, administrators should first configure the required training information.

Step 1: Configure Onboarding Templates
Onboarding Templates define the standard onboarding activities and requirements that new employees must complete.
Create or Manage an Onboarding Template

Navigate to Thulo HR → HR Records.

Select Settings → Onboarding Templates.

Create, edit, or delete onboarding criteria as required.
Result
The onboarding template becomes available for use when creating onboarding checklists for employees.
Step 2: Create an Onboarding Checklist
After configuring the onboarding template, create an onboarding checklist for a specific employee.
Create a New Checklist

Navigate to HR Records → Onboarding.

Click Add Checklist.
Step 3: Configure the Onboarding Process
The system will display the Add Checklist screen.

Select the employee.

Select the onboarding template.

Assign the required training programs.

Enter any additional onboarding information.

Click Save.
Alternatively, click Close to cancel the operation.
Result
The onboarding process is created and assigned to the selected employee.
Training Programs
Training programs can be assigned during the onboarding process to ensure that new employees receive the necessary orientation and job-specific training.
Training Field
The Training field retrieves data from:
HR Records → Training Programs
Select the appropriate training program(s) that the employee must complete as part of the onboarding process.
Training Program Selection Rules
The system only displays training programs that meet the following conditions:
Job Posting-Based Training Programs
The Training Program must be associated with the same Job Posting that was used when hiring the employee.
Important
The onboarding screen does not display training programs that were created specifically for individual staff members.
Only training programs linked to the employee's associated job posting will be available for selection.

After an onboarding checklist is created, administrators and responsible employees can monitor progress throughout the onboarding process.

Training Programs available for selection are filtered based on the employee's associated Job Posting.
