Purpose of Campaign Status

Campaign Status indicates the current state of a recruitment campaign and controls how the campaign behaves in the recruitment process.

It helps HR teams:

• Understand whether a campaign is active or closed

• Control candidate applications

• Track hiring progress clearly

Common Campaign Status Types

A recruitment campaign typically moves through the following statuses:

• Planned
  The campaign is created but not yet active.
  Candidates cannot apply at this stage.

• In Progress
  The campaign is active and accepting applications.
  Job listings are visible on the Recruitment Portal.

• Completed
  The hiring process for the campaign is finished.
  No new applications are accepted.

Actual status names may vary based on system configuration.

Campaign Visibility on the Recruitment Portal

Campaign visibility determines whether a job appears on the Recruitment Portal.

• Only campaigns marked as In Progress are visible to candidates.

• Planned or Completed campaigns are hidden from the portal.

• Visibility is controlled automatically based on campaign status.

How Campaign Status Is Updated

Campaign status is updated by HR users when:

• The campaign is launched

• Hiring begins

• Recruitment is completed

Status changes are managed from the Recruitment Campaign screen.

Why Campaign Status Matters

Campaign status affects:

• Candidate application availability

• Recruitment workload visibility

• Accuracy of recruitment reports

Incorrect status may result in:

• Jobs not appearing on the portal

• Candidates applying to closed roles

Best Practices

• Review campaign status before publishing job openings

• Mark campaigns as completed once hiring is finished

• Avoid leaving inactive campaigns in “In Progress” status

Important Notes

• Changing campaign status does not delete candidate records

• Existing applications remain available even after completion

• Campaign status does not affect recruitment plans
