Unit Setting

Units

Purpose

The Units screen allows administrators to create and manage measurement units used within Key Results. Units provide context for tracking progress and target values, ensuring that Key Results are measured consistently across the organization.

Examples of units may include Percentage (%), Number, Hours, Days, Revenue, Customers, Leads, Projects, or any other custom measurement used for OKR tracking.

Units created in this screen are available when creating or editing Key Results within OKRs.

Create

To create a new unit:

Step 1

Navigate to Settings within the OKR Module from the left sidebar menu.

Step 2

Select Unit and click the Add button.

Step 3

Enter the unit name.

Step 4

Click Save to create the unit.

The newly created unit will become available when defining Key Results.

View

The Unit list displays all configured measurement units available within the OKR module.

Users can view:

  • Unit Name

  • Creation Details

  • Last Updated Information

Edit

To modify an existing unit:

Step 1

Navigate to Settings → Unit within the OKR module.

Step 2

Locate the unit to be updated and click Edit.

Step 3

Make the required changes.

Step 4

Click Save to apply the changes.

The updated unit will be available throughout the OKR module.

Delete

To remove a unit:

Step 1

Navigate to Settings → Unit within the OKR module.

Step 2

Locate the unit to be removed and click Delete.

Step 3

Confirm the deletion in the confirmation dialog.

The selected unit will be permanently deleted from the system.

Field Descriptions

Field Description
Unit The measurement unit used to track and evaluate Key Result progress.

Workflow Rules

  • Units are used when creating or editing Key Results.

  • Each Key Result can be assigned a measurement unit to define how progress is tracked.

  • Units help standardize reporting and performance measurement across the organization.

  • Multiple Key Results can use the same unit.

  • Changes made to a unit are reflected wherever the unit is referenced within the OKR module.

Calculations

Progress Measurement

  • Units provide the measurement format for Key Result target values and actual values.

  • Progress calculations use the assigned unit when displaying achievement and performance metrics.

  • Units do not directly affect calculation formulas but define how values are interpreted and presented.

Synchronization

Unit data is synchronized with:

  • Objectives

  • Key Results

  • Progress Tracking

  • Check-Ins

  • Dashboards

  • Reports

  • Performance Reviews

Permissions

Permission Description
View Allows users to view unit records.
Create Allows users to create new units.
Edit Allows users to modify existing units.
Delete Allows users to remove units.

Important Notes

  • Units should be created before defining Key Results that require measurement tracking.

  • Organizations can maintain both standard and custom units based on business requirements.

  • Consistent unit usage improves reporting accuracy and performance analysis.

  • Deleting a unit may affect future Key Result creation if the unit is required for measurement purposes.

  • Units are intended to standardize Key Result tracking across company, department, team, and individual OKRs.
