Checkin Question

Check-In Questions

Purpose

The Check-In Questions screen allows administrators to create and manage standardized questions used during OKR check-ins. These questions help employees, managers, and teams provide consistent updates on objective progress, challenges, achievements, and future plans during regular review cycles.

Check-in questions support structured progress reporting and improve the quality of OKR reviews across the organization.


Create

To create a new check-in question:

Step 1

Navigate to Settings within the OKR Module from the left sidebar menu.

Step 2

Select Check-In Questions and click the Add button.

Step 3

Enter the check-in question.

Step 4

Click Save to create the question.

The new question will become available during OKR check-in activities.


View

The Check-In Questions list displays all configured questions available for OKR check-ins.

Users can view:

  • Question Content

  • Creation Details

  • Last Updated Information


Edit

To modify an existing check-in question:

Step 1

Navigate to Settings → Check-In Questions within the OKR module.

Step 2

Locate the question to be updated and click Edit.

Step 3

Make the required changes.

Step 4

Click Save to apply the changes.

Updated questions will be reflected in future check-in activities.


Delete

To remove a check-in question:

Step 1

Navigate to Settings → Check-In Questions within the OKR module.

Step 2

Locate the question to be removed and click Delete.

Step 3

Confirm the deletion in the confirmation dialog.

The selected question will be permanently deleted from the system.


Field Descriptions

Field Description
Check-In Question The question presented to users during OKR check-ins to collect progress updates, feedback, challenges, or action plans.

Workflow Rules

  • Check-in questions are used during the OKR progress review process.

  • Multiple questions can be created to support different reporting requirements.

  • Questions should be designed to encourage meaningful progress updates.

  • Changes to a question will apply to future check-in activities.

  • Deleted questions will no longer be available for new check-ins.


Synchronization

Check-in question data is synchronized with:

  • OKR Check-Ins

  • Objective Progress Tracking

  • Key Result Reviews

  • Employee Performance Reviews

  • Reports

  • Dashboards


Permissions

Permission Description
View Allows users to view check-in questions.
Create Allows users to create new check-in questions.
Edit Allows users to modify existing check-in questions.
Delete Allows users to remove check-in questions.

Important Notes

  • Check-in questions should be clear, concise, and relevant to OKR progress tracking.

  • Organizations can maintain multiple questions to support structured review processes.

  • Deleting a question removes it from future check-in forms.

  • Regularly reviewing and updating questions helps improve the quality of progress reporting.

  • Well-designed check-in questions encourage accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within the OKR framework.
