Cycle Settings
Purpose
The Cycle Settings screen allows administrators to define and manage OKR planning cycles within the organization. Cycles establish the time period during which Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) are created, tracked, reviewed, and evaluated.
Organizations can create different cycle types such as Yearly, Quarterly, Monthly, or Custom Period cycles to support various planning and performance management frameworks.
Cycle records are used when creating and managing OKRs throughout the system.
Create
To create a new OKR cycle:
Step 1
Navigate to Settings within the OKR Module from the left sidebar menu.
Step 2
Select Cycle and click the Add button.
Step 3
Complete the required information:

Select the Cycle Type.

Enter the Cycle Name.

Specify the From Date and To Date.
Step 4
Click Save to create the cycle.
The newly created cycle becomes available for selection when creating or editing OKRs.
View
The Cycle list displays all configured OKR cycles within the organization.
Users can view cycle details including:

Cycle Type

Cycle Name
-
Start Date
-
End Date
Edit
To modify an existing cycle:
Step 1
Navigate to Settings → Cycle within the OKR module.
Step 2
Locate the cycle to be updated and click Edit.
Step 3
Update the required information.
Step 4
Click Save to apply the changes.
The updated cycle information will be reflected throughout the OKR module.
Delete
To remove a cycle:
Step 1
Navigate to Settings → Cycle within the OKR module.
Step 2
Locate the cycle to be removed and click Delete.
Step 3
Confirm the deletion in the confirmation dialog.
The selected cycle will be permanently deleted from the system.
Field Descriptions
| Field | Description |

| Type | Defines the planning period type for the cycle. Available options include Period, Yearly, Quarterly, and Monthly. |
| Name | Unique name used to identify the cycle. |
| From Date | The start date of the OKR cycle. |
| To Date | The end date of the OKR cycle. |
Workflow Rules

Cycles must be created before OKRs can be assigned to a planning period.

Multiple cycles can be maintained to support different planning schedules.

Each cycle defines the duration during which OKRs are tracked and measured.

Cycle records are available for selection during Objective and Key Result creation.

Changes made to a cycle are reflected wherever the cycle is referenced within the OKR module.

Permissions

Important Notes

Cycle names should be clearly defined to distinguish planning periods.

The From Date should be earlier than the To Date.

Deleted cycles cannot be used for future OKR planning.

Organizations should establish cycle structures before creating company, department, team, or individual OKRs.

Common cycle configurations include Annual, Quarterly, Monthly, and Custom Period planning cycles.
