Email Unsubscribe Settings
Purpose
The Email Unsubscribe Settings screen allows administrators to control whether marketing emails sent from Thulo Marketing Automation include an unsubscribe link.
This feature helps organizations manage email subscription preferences and comply with email marketing best practices.
When enabled, recipients can unsubscribe from future marketing communications directly from the email they receive.
Once a Lead or Customer unsubscribes, the system will no longer send marketing emails to that recipient.
Edit
Configure Unsubscribe Settings

Navigate to Marketing Automation → Settings → Email Configuration.

Locate the Enable Unsubscribe Link setting.

Select one of the following options:

Yes – Display the unsubscribe link in marketing emails.

No – Hide the unsubscribe link from marketing emails.

If enabled, enter the desired text in the Unsubscribe Text field.

Click Save.
The updated configuration will be applied to future marketing emails.

Workflow Rules
Unsubscribe Link Enabled
When Enable Unsubscribe Link = Yes:

The unsubscribe link is displayed in outgoing marketing emails.

The text displayed for the link is taken from the Unsubscribe Text field.

Recipients can click the link to opt out of future marketing emails.

Unsubscribe Link Disabled
When Enable Unsubscribe Link = No:

No unsubscribe link is displayed in marketing emails.

Recipients cannot unsubscribe through email links.

The configured Unsubscribe Text is ignored.
Unsubscribe Processing
When a recipient clicks the unsubscribe link:

The system records the unsubscribe request.
-
The Lead or Customer is marked as unsubscribed.
-
Future marketing emails are blocked for that recipient.
The unsubscribe action applies to Marketing Automation email communications.
Campaign Email Delivery
Before sending an email, the system checks the recipient's subscription status.
Subscribed Recipient

The email is delivered normally.
Unsubscribed Recipient
-
The email is not sent.

The recipient is excluded from marketing email delivery.
Important Notes

The unsubscribe setting applies only to marketing emails sent through Thulo Marketing Automation.

When enabled, every outgoing marketing email includes the unsubscribe option.

Once a Lead or Customer unsubscribes, the system will stop sending marketing emails to that recipient.

Unsubscribe requests are processed automatically.
-
Disabling the unsubscribe link does not automatically re-subscribe previously unsubscribed recipients.

Changes to the unsubscribe configuration affect future emails only.

It is recommended to keep the unsubscribe option enabled to support recipient preference management and email marketing compliance.
