Email configuration to send email in MA

Email Configuration

Purpose

The Email Configuration screen allows administrators to configure the email server settings used by Thulo Marketing Automation for sending marketing emails, automated notifications, drip campaigns, and workflow-based communications.

The module supports two configuration methods:

  1. System Default SMTP – Uses the email configuration already defined in the main system settings.

  2. Custom SMTP Configuration – Uses a dedicated SMTP server specifically for Marketing Automation activities.

This flexibility allows organizations to either share the platform-wide email infrastructure or maintain a separate email delivery service for marketing campaigns.

Create

Method 1: Use System Default SMTP

  1. Navigate to Setup → Settings → Email.

  2. Configure and save the system email settings.

  3. Go to Marketing Automation → Email Configuration.

When Other SMTP is selected

  • Marketing Automation uses the dedicated SMTP configuration defined within this screen.
