Email Templates
Purpose
The Email Templates screen is used to create, manage, and maintain reusable email designs within Thulo Marketing Automation.
Email Templates serve as the design foundation for marketing emails and can be reused across multiple campaigns, workflows, and customer journeys.
The relationship between Email Templates and Emails is:
Email Template → Email → Campaign → Lead/Customer
By using Email Templates, organizations can standardize branding, messaging, and communication layouts across all marketing activities.
Create
Step 1: Create an Email Template

Navigate to Marketing Automation → Settings → Email Templates.

Click Add.

Complete the required fields.
-
Click Save.
Alternatively:
-
Click Back to cancel and return to the previous screen.
After saving, the system opens the Email Template details screen.
Step 2: Add Additional Languages

Open the Email Template.
-
Navigate to the Preview tab.
-
Click Add Language.
-
Select the desired language.
-
Save.
Multiple language versions can be added to a single Email Template.
Step 3: Design the Template

Open the Email Template.
-
Select Design.
-
Use the Email Designer to create the template layout.

Drag and drop available components onto the design canvas.
-
Configure the content and styling.
-
Click Save.
The designed template becomes available for use in Email records.
Step 4: Clone Design to Another Language
After completing the design:

Click Clone Design.
-
Select the target language.
-
Copy the existing layout.
-
Modify the content for the selected language.
-
Save.
This allows administrators to maintain a consistent design across multiple language versions while customizing the text content.
View
To view an Email Template:
-
Navigate to Marketing Automation → Settings → Email Templates.

Locate the Email Template.
-
Click View.
The Email Template details screen displays all associated information, language versions, statistics, and Lead activity.
Edit
-
Navigate to Marketing Automation → Settings → Email Templates.
-
Locate the Email Template.
-
Click Edit.
-
Modify the required information.
-
Click Save.
Changes are applied immediately to the Email Template.
Delete
To delete an Email Template:

Navigate to Marketing Automation → Settings → Email Templates.
-
Locate the Email Template.
-
Click Delete.
-
Confirm the deletion.
The Email Template is permanently removed from the system.
Clone
The Clone function allows users to duplicate an existing Email Template.
To Clone an Email Template
-
Navigate to Marketing Automation → Settings → Email Templates.

Locate the Email Template.
-
Click Clone.
-
Enter the required information.
-
Click Save.
The system creates a new Email Template based on the original design and configuration.
Field Descriptions
| Field | Description |

| Name | Name of the Email Template. |
| Category | Category assigned to the Email Template. Only Categories with the type Email Template are available for selection. |
| Color | Visual identifier used for sorting and searching. |
| Published | Determines whether the Email Template is available for use. |
| Language | Defines the language associated with the template version. |
| Description | Additional information about the Email Template. |
Workflow Rules
Language Management
Each Email Template can contain multiple language versions.
When additional languages are configured:

A separate design can be created for each language.

Language-specific content can be maintained independently.

Consistent layouts can be reused through the Clone Design feature.
Template Availability
When Published = Yes:

The Email Template becomes available for Email creation.
When Published = No:

The Email Template is not available for selection.

Statistics
Email Statistics
The Email Stats section displays:

Number of emails sent
-
Number of email opens
-
Number of link clicks
This information helps measure engagement for the Email Template.
Email Statistics by Campaign
The Email Statistics by Campaign section displays:

Emails sent per campaign
-
Email opens per campaign
-
Link clicks per campaign
Statistics are calculated based on campaigns using the selected Email Template.
Leads
The Leads tab displays all Leads who have received emails generated from the selected Email Template.
Available information includes:

Lead details
-
Campaign activity
-
Lead engagement history
-
Point score
The Point column displays the Lead's total score after campaign processing, including:

Important Notes

Email Templates must be designed before they can be used effectively in Emails.

Multiple language versions can be maintained within a single Email Template.

Clone Design copies only the layout and structure; content should be translated and customized for each language.

Only Published Email Templates can be used when creating Emails.
-
Deleting an Email Template may affect Emails and Campaigns that reference it.

Statistics are updated based on campaign activity and email engagement.

Language-based email delivery depends on the Lead's or Customer's configured language preference.
Emails
Purpose
The Emails screen is used to create, manage, and customize email communications that are sent through marketing campaigns and automation workflows.
Emails are the actual communication records used within campaigns and are typically based on previously created Email Templates.
Emails can be sent to:

Customer Primary Contacts
The system automatically selects the appropriate language version based on the Lead's or Customer's preferred language.
Create
Step 1: Create an Email

Navigate to Marketing Automation → Channels → Emails.

Click Add.
-
Complete the required information.
-
Click Save.
Alternatively:

Click Back to cancel and return to the previous screen.
After saving, the Email becomes available for use within Campaigns and Workflow actions.
View
To view an Email:

Navigate to Marketing Automation → Channels → Emails.
-
Select the Email record.
-
Review the Email configuration, content, language versions, and usage information.
Edit

Open the Email record.
-
Modify the required information.
-
Save the changes.
Updated settings apply to future campaign executions.
Delete

Navigate to Marketing Automation → Channels → Emails.
-
Locate the Email record.
-
Click Delete.
-
Confirm the action.
The Email record is permanently removed.

Language Selection
Before sending an Email:

The system checks the Lead or Customer language.

The matching Email language version is selected.

The Email is delivered using the corresponding language design.
Unsubscribe Processing
Every marketing Email contains an unsubscribe option.
When a recipient clicks Unsubscribe:

The recipient is marked as unsubscribed.
-
Future marketing emails are blocked for that email address.
-
The system excludes the recipient from future marketing email deliveries.
