24-Hour Shift Attendance
Purpose
The 24-Hour Shift Attendance feature allows organizations to create shift schedules where employees can work and record attendance for a full 24-hour period within the same calendar day.
This configuration is commonly used for:
-
Security personnel
-
Emergency response teams
-
On-call support staff
-
Healthcare workers
-
Operations monitoring teams
-
Continuous service environments
A 24-hour shift is created by configuring a Shift Category with both the shift start time and shift end time set to 12:00 AM (00:00). Employees assigned to this shift can check in at the beginning of the day and check out at the end of the same day.
The system calculates working hours based on the attendance records and configured break periods.
