Permissions
Purpose
The Permissions screen allows administrators to control access to the Purchase module by assigning permissions to specific roles or individual employees. Permissions determine which users can access and perform actions within the Purchase module based on their responsibilities.
Administrators have unrestricted access to all Purchase module functions and can manage permission assignments for both roles and staff members.
Create
To create a new permission assignment:
Step 1
Navigate to Settings within the Purchase Module from the left sidebar.
Step 2
Select Permissions and click Add.
Step 3
Complete the required information:

Select a Role if the permission should apply to all employees assigned to that role.

Select a Staff Name if the permission should apply to a specific employee.
Step 4
Click Save.
The permission assignment becomes active immediately.
View
The Permissions list displays all configured permission assignments.
Users can view:

Staff Name

Assigned Permissions
-
Creation Information
-
Last Updated Information
Edit
To modify an existing permission assignment:
Step 1
Navigate to Settings → Permissions.
Step 2
Select the permission assignment and click Edit.
Step 3
Update the required information.
Step 4
Click Save.
The updated permissions become effective immediately.
Delete
To remove a permission assignment:
Step 1
Navigate to Settings → Permissions.
Step 2
Select the permission assignment and click Delete.
Step 3
Confirm the deletion in the confirmation dialog.
The selected permission assignment will be permanently removed.
Field Descriptions

Workflow Rules
Role-Based Permissions

Permissions assigned to a role automatically apply to all employees associated with that role.

Changes to role permissions affect all users assigned to the role.
Staff-Based Permissions

Permissions assigned directly to a staff member apply only to that employee.

Staff-specific permissions can be used to grant additional access beyond role-based permissions.
Administrative Access

Administrators always have unrestricted access to all Purchase module features.

Administrative permissions cannot be restricted through this screen.
Permission Evaluation

Access to Purchase module menus, records, transactions, approvals, and settings is controlled by assigned permissions.

Users can only perform actions permitted by their assigned access rights.

Permissions
| Permission Type | Description |

Permissions can be assigned to either roles or individual staff members.

Administrators always retain full access regardless of permission assignments.
