Purpose
Inventory Delivery Voucher Mapping defines how inventory issued or delivered out of stock is recorded into accounting accounts in SmartBooks.
This mapping ensures inventory reduction and related cost entries are posted correctly in accounting records.
How to Access

Go to SmartBooks

Click Settings
-
Open Mapping Setup

Select Inventory Delivery Voucher Mappping

What Inventory Delivery Voucher Mapping Does
This mapping connects:

Inventory delivery voucher components
-
Accounting accounts used to record inventory outflow and cost
When inventory is delivered or issued, SmartBooks uses this mapping to post the correct accounting entries.
Configuring Inventory Delivery Voucher Mapping
To configure or update the mapping:

Open Inventory Delivery Voucher Mappping
-
Select the Delivery Voucher Component
-
Select the Account to record the inventory movement
-
Save the mapping
The mapping is applied automatically to future inventory deliveries.
Updating Mapping
Update this mapping when:

Inventory cost accounts change
-
Delivery or issuance process changes
-
Accounting structure is revised
Changes affect future inventory delivery records only.
Important Notes

Delivery voucher mapping affects inventory valuation and cost tracking

Incorrect mapping can affect stock balances and reports
-
Existing delivery records are not recalculated automatically
