This guide provides a step-by-step explanation on how to send surveys to targeted audiences using Thulo Cloud's Mail Lists and survey features.
Sending Surveys with Mail Lists:
- Navigate to the survey edit area and click the "Send Survey" tab on the right side.
Target Audience Selection:
- Choose from three pre-defined Thulo Cloud mail lists.
- Alternatively, create custom mail lists in Utilities > Surveys > Mail Lists to target specific groups.
- Additionally, you can select specific customer groups or leads based on their status.
Important Note: Due to email sending limits imposed by most hosting providers, Thulo Cloud utilizes CRON Jobs to distribute surveys. The maximum number of emails sent per hour can be configured in Setup > Settings > Cron Job > Surveys.
Survey Configuration Before Sending:
- Survey Short Description (View Description - Optional): This is the HTML content that recipients will see when they open the survey.
- Survey Description (Email Description): Customize the email content sent to recipients. Include the
{survey_link}merge field to allow them to access the survey directly. (Omit this field if using surveys within regular mass emails.) - From (displayed in email): Set the email address displayed in the "From" field of the survey email. Leave blank to use the default email configured in Setup > Settings > Email. (Ensure a valid, domain-based email address is used to avoid spam filters.)
- Only for logged in participants (staff, customers): If enabled, only staff or customer recipients (depending on your selection) can access the survey. You'll need to mention login requirements in the email description if this option is chosen.
